Movie Move- H2OVanoss

Jonathan's POV
I sighed as I looked out of my car window. The pouring rain made it hard to make out the dimly lit movie theater. No one was here yet so I relaxed contemplated what has happened this past month.

My friends and I decided we should catch a movie together. Brian and Brock were just announced a couple. They told their subscribers and really hoped for the best.

Tyler and Craig are also a thing, but they haven't gotten the courage to confess yet. However, all of us were willing to take a night out to watch a movie to celebrate Brian and Brock's announcement.

Evan was coming along too since he said he had nothing to do. As long Evan's going I'm going. We've grown a bond over the years, but no where close to being a thing. Well... until now.

I've actually had feelings for Evan for a short amount of time. Only because I just didn't even consider myself being gay, but after experiencing mind blanks, butterflies, and sometimes even arousal just at the sound of his voice. I've come to the conclusion that I am gay. Really there's no denying it on my part.

My focus is snapped out of my thoughts when a notification pops up on my phone. They were wondering where I was and when I would be at the theater. I take my umbrella and open it while closing the driver's door behind me.

I locked my car and started to head to the entrance of the theater. As I walked closer I could see five silhouettes standing under three umbrellas. Brian and Brock were under one, as well as Tyler and Craig. Evan was standing under his own umbrella, he seemed very lonely and in a grim state.

As soon as I came into view Evan gave me a soft smile and every one else greeted me with bro hugging and fist bumps. We went inside and payed for our tickets to the movie.

As soon as we entered the theater the couples held hands. As if the the surrounding darkness protected them from their... secretive relationships. The movies were still showing the previews so I offered the guys if they wanted anything to eat.

As soon as I went back to the food counter, bought our food, and came back in the theater the movie was starting. I hurriedly sat back in my seat and gave the guys their food.

I sat next to Evan while the two sets of lovebirds sat on either side of us. The movie started and I shifted comfortably in my seat. My eyes cautiously darted Evan's way as the movie started. I sigh keep my eyes fixed on the movie and took a sip from my ICEE.

(AN: ICEE? Slurpie? Slush puppy? Idfk- ie xD)

In the middle of the movie I looked over at Evan. His eyes glowed due to the light which was given off by the huge screen. My arm urged me to put it around Evan's shoulders, so I sneakily tried to snake my arm behind him.

'He's gonna be creeped out. Friends don't do this.'

I quickly withdraw my arm second guessing myself foolishly. Evan didn't seem to notice so I huffed in relief. The movie at this point was in a very suspenseful and jumpscare kind of atmosphere.

I looked to my left to see Craig cringing in his seat waiting for the jumpscare to come. Tyler smirks noticing this and starts to put his arm around Craig until the jumpscare came out of nowhere. Causing Craig to literally jump in Tyler's arms. Craig smiles at him and rests his head on Tyler's shoulder.

I sigh to myself and look back at Evan who was stuffing a handful of popcorn into his mouth. I giggle at his actions as he kept his attention on the movie playing in front of him.

More time passed and my anxiety was rising by the minute. I couldn't help but glance at Evan again and again, wondering what I should or shouldn't do. The movie was at a saddening part and even I got a little teary-eyed watching the depressing scene play out.

I hear sniffing to my right. Evan, believe it or not, was glassy-eyed and almost crying. Now if you know a movie that can make grown men cry, it's a pretty sad movie. Evan then picked up his popcorn again eating one kernel at a time.

I had the feeling to comfort him, he was crying after all. So I gathered up all my courage once again and stretched my arm around his shoulders. However, his head turned towards me and I panicked quickly bringing my hand back to hold the popcorn bag he offered me.

I eat a little and put the bag on the ground next to my seat. I groan silently, frustrated with my failed attempts.

Hearing a whimper I look to my right again, but it wasn't Evan. I subtly lean forward to look past Evan and realize that Brian was actually crying.

Brock tore his eyes off the screen as soon as he heard the sound. He looked at Brian and smiled softly before putting and arm around Brian. Brian snuggles his face into his chest to cry some more before I lean back and blankly look at the movie screen sadly once again.

The movie now was close to being over, but I really didn't know what was going on. I couldn't focus on the movie anymore. I just was occupied with my thoughts of finally having my arm comfortably around Evan.

I curse under my breath, knowing there's not going to be a better chance to do it than now. I mean, third time's a charm right?

I glance at him for the millionth time tonight and gradually guide my hand quietly around him. I see him shift and look back at me for a moment.

I blush and my intuition kicks in making my arm retract to my body once again. My heart is thumping a mile a minute, my eyes were glued to the screen. I notice Evan glance at me and shake his head before grabbing my arm and throwing it over his shoulder.

Bravely I look at him and he smiles at me. I smile back nervously, very surprised. He shifts his weight to lean on me and I relax finally content with my position. I hug him tighter as the movie plays on.

After the movie ended, we walked out of the theater and threw our trash away. The guys were talking about the movie while Evan and I were dragging behind them in silence.

As soon as we got outside it was still raining. So everyone got their umbrellas out. I was about to take mine out but was stopped by Evan.

"Don't worry, we can use mine."

I looked and he smiled at me as he tugged me closer to be under the same umbrella. I silently obey and rest my head on his shoulder as he guided me to my car.
